Fortnite’ summer event is here, there are all the cosmetics and rewards you can grab!

Fortnite’s yearly summer event has just launched in the game. Coming at about the halfway point of Chapter 3 Season 3, Fortnite No Sweat Summer is in full effect. The event has exclusive quests for players to complete, loads of free cosmetics, and some fun changes to the game’s balance.

This is how it’s all going to work and the quests to do to make sure you don’t miss anything this summer.

Fortnite No Sweat Summer

The Fortnite No Sweat Summer event is 2022’s yearly party. It seems to be the center point of this season’s theme. Each summer event brings new changes to the game along with free cosmetics. No Sweat Summer looks like it’s going to be a busy few weeks with a lot going on.

No Sweat Summer Quests

The Fortnite No Sweat Summer Event brings new challenges and quests to the game. These are already active and players can start progressing through them. You can find them in their own tab in the Fortnite challenges section. Each of them awards XP, so you can get through that Battle Pass quicker. Players can get access to unique cosmetics too by completing the quests. These are free and exclusive to the event, if you miss them, then they’re gone for good.

The questlines vary from engaging with the new content to hit some specific milestones. These are all the free cosmetics and rewards you’ll get for the No Sweat Summer questlines.

  • Ice-Blasted Snow Crunch’em Back Bling
  • Meowscles’ Tail Style Ice Blasted Snow Back Bling

No Sweat Marketing Quests

Fortnite No Sweat Summer Rewards

The Fortnite No Sweat Summer event is themed around the ‘No Sweat Insurance’ that’s been a part of the game’s background. These quests are centered on the player pulling some marketing stunts and other work for the No Sweat Insurance company. These have their own separate rewards for the various stages. These are the cosmetics you can get from these plotlines.

  • Goopy Guff Snow Crunch’em Back Bling
  • No Sweatin’ Lobby Track
  • Nana Frost Ice-Blasted Snow Back Bling
  • Sweaty Sailer Glider
  • Sweaty Rotation Emote

Rebuild the Block

Fortnite No Sweat Summer The Block

Those are all the No Sweat-specific questlines coming, but this event is bringing a few more features to the game. One of the most exciting is going to be the Block returning. This is a new POI feature but also a quest line with its own cosmetics and quests. It’s going to have players work together to reconstruct parts of Tilted Towers.

Players can vote during this competition to decide what will be built in the Block’s open spots. These are the main quests for this part of No Sweat Summer.

  • Donate bars to vote for construction on The Block.
  • Survive Storm Phases During the Event (July 21 – August 9)
  • Eliminate Opponents During the Event

The first round of voting is going to decide which building ends up in the restaurant slot. The second will cover the Apartments, and the last will be the Shops. Each of these competitions is between three different creative mode builds that were entered into Rebuild the Block.

Once this questline is done, we’ll have a bit of a different-looking POI on the map. However, in previous seasons, the Block wasn’t static. While the voting will likely decide the block for this season, we could see other buildings get mixed up in there in the future.

Completing all the quests to Rebuild the Block is going to net you even more free cosmetics. These are the ones you’ll unlock with this stage!

  • Sea-Wheeeed Contrail
  • Lucky Lance Pickaxe
  • Oro-Boris Back Bling

Other Changes with No Sweat Summer Release

The No Sweat Summer event has a lot of quests and rewards, but there are some changes Epic hasn’t explained quite as well! A few items have been thrown back into the game lately. These are some other changes in this update to Fortnite.

Boogie Bombs

Boogie Bombs have made a return to the game! These are a classic Fortnite Item, it’s a grenade that makes everyone in its vicinity dance! These are fun for memes and can actually be used for strategic plays too.

Ice Cream

Ice Cream has been added to the game with Fortnite No Sweat Summer! These work similarly to fish, you eat them for a specific effect. These are found in the coolers that are around the map. These are all the types and what they do:

  • Lil’Whip’s Special Serve – Basic ice cream restores your health and shield.
  • Guzzling Ice Cream – Replenishes health over time.
  • Frozen Ice Cream Cone – Adds some Health and applies the slippery ice effect
  • Ice Cream Cone – Restores Health
  • Spicy Ice Cream Cone – Adds health and gives the spicy speed buff.

Map Changes with No Sweat Summer

There have been some map changes to the island with this recent update. This isn’t a huge new POI, but there are some alterations to what is here already. The major one is changes at the Sanctuary and the ocean behind it.

This has become a real party location with more structures in the ocean.  There are now barges and boats for players to vibe on.

Fireworks

A little firework show has been added to the game! These run every now and again throughout games. You’ll just need to look up. This is a really fun novelty that’s going to be a nice easter egg. Although, it might get annoying if this sticks around for the entire event!

Fortnite Last Summer Update – Epic’s Vacation

Fortnite No Sweat Summer

That’s how the No Sweat Summer event is going to work. There’s a lot of content here, but that’s for a pretty good reason. Epic is about to take their regular holiday. That means they won’t be pushing out any major updates for the next two weeks.

While we’re still looking forward to the Dragon Ball Super crossover bringing Goku and Beerus to the game soon, we’ve probably got at least two more weeks first. Epic only take a couple of holidays a year, so it’s hard to begrudge them a break. It looks like No Sweat Summer is a full enough update to keep everyone busy for the duration. There are a lot of quests to get through if you want to grab every cosmetic in this skin.
