Two teams from China’s development league, the LDL, got their matches suspended due to suspicious behavior.
LDL is once again having another problem with the match-fixing or throwing issues among their teams. LDL has an infamous history with accusations of match-fixing, the biggest and most recent one being from the last spring that started when former FPX player Zhou ‘Bo’ Yang-Bo reported himself about the activities in the lower league. As a result, Bo was suspended from LPL, and the whole LDL were put on suspension on March 16 as they started an investigation, and over 30 players were handed temporary, and in some cases lifetime bans.
Now the league is faced to face with another scandal as there was an incident in one of their latest matches, Team Orange vs. TWELVE on July 10. The game, in which TWELVE was up near 15k gold, Dragon Soul and Baron at the 25th minute but still lost, can still be watched on the Chinese site Bilibili.
After the officials noticed some abnormal behavior from teams during the game, they decided to step in and investigate the matter further. To allow this, both teams’ future games will be suspended till the investigation ends. However, this will only affect the aforementioned teams and the rest of the LPL scheduled will move forward the same.

Dear summoners:
The League of Legends professional competition discipline management team discovered possible abnormalities after TEAM ORANGE played against TWELVE in the LDL on July 10, and immediately set up a special team to investigate the relevant situation. In order to ensure the fairness of the competition, the league has decided that all TEAM ORANGE and TWELVE games will be postponed going forward, and the specific schedule adjustments will be announced after the investigation is completed. The rest of the LDL matches will continue as normal, thank you summoners for your understanding.
