Ludwig Ahgren presents the second-ever Ludwig Mondays featuring Fortnite tournament.
The first inaugural Ludwig Mondays featuring Fortnite occurred one week ago with content creators such as Imane “Pokimane” Anys, Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter, Felix “xQc” Lengyel and Ludwig Ahgren on the list of competitors. It was a successful competition by all accounts–hundreds of thousands tuned in to see which squad would walk away with the Golden Bidet. Mizzlerrr, Brucewaynerd, Nick Polom and ComedyRussell ultimately secured the victory; Team xQc and Team Pokimane followed closely behind in second and third.
Ludwig Ahgren teased a second edition following the tournament’s success if a tweet received 50K likes. As of posting this article, the tweet currently sits at more than 90K likes. It’s now official; Ludwig Monday’s part two will occur later today with an expanded list of players confirmed to appear. Here is everything we know about the second Ludwig Mondays tournament.
Ludwig Mondays Format & Scoring System
50K LIKES AND I DO FORTNITE MONDAY AGAIN NEXT WEEK
— ludwig (@LudwigAhgren) March 29, 2022
This competition remains under the Squads format like in week one; four players per team. We can assume at least 17 teams will enter the competition based on recent tweets from Ludwig. All groups will receive a custom matchmaking key before each game begins, which will place them into a custom lobby. The scoring system awards points based on eliminations and placement.
Here is the scoring system that Ludwig Mondays utilized last week:
- Victory Royale: 10 points
- 2nd-5th: 7 points
- 6th-10th: 5 points
- 11th-12th: 2 points
- 13th-15th: 0 points
- Eliminations: 1 point each
This scoring system could change slightly if the total number of teams increases from 15 to 17, so keep that in mind before the competition begins later today.
