Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: Complete Tournament Schedule

ESTNN provides a comprehensive schedule of every known Fortnite tournament in Chapter 3 Season 2. 


Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is well underway, and what a ride it’s been so far. Zero Build mode captured the attention of players old and new, while the new mantling and tactical sprint mechanics added a new layer to an already complex gaming experience. The season’s first few weeks offered players of all talent levels the chance to learn the many nuances involved. That sentiment goes double for the talented competitors looking to dominate upcoming tournaments. 

The competitive season begins this weekend with the inaugural Twitch Rivals Zero Build competition, where invited creators will compete for a share of $450K USD. Beyond that, players can expect the usual weekly Cash Cups, new Lightning Cups, and eventually, the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS). 

Let’s look at the schedule that lies ahead for competitors and viewers worldwide, without any further ado. 

Duos Cash Cups

Duos Cash Cups return on April 4 with the usual two-round tournament held on back-to-back days. Those ranked in the Open, Contender and Champion League can participate. However, only Champion League players are eligible to win cash prizes. The current schedule indicates that Duos Cash Cups will run from April 4 to June 1.

Solo Cash Cups

Solo Cash Cups are back in Chapter 3 Season 2, for individuals to showcase their impressive abilities. The first tournament will occur on April 9 and follow the same two-round format on back-to-back days. Like the Duo tournaments, Solos Cash Cups offer competitions to all Arena Mode ranks, but only Champion League players can win monetary prizes.

Trios Hype Cups

Fans of Trios event can get their fix this season with the returning Hype Cups. These offer only Hype points as a prize, which dictates your rank in Arena Mode. Hype Cups are more casual than Cash Cups while still offering solid competitive Fortnite practice.

Collegiate Cup

Epic Games teamed up with the CCA and eFuse to provide a tournament open only to NA East and NA West college students. This tournament utilizes the Solos format with multiple rounds. Visit Epic’s blog post for more information on prizes and how to qualify.

  • April 14 (Qualifier Two)
  • April 21 (Semi-Finals)
  • May 15 (Division Finals) 

Twitch Rivals Zero Build

Zero Build caught steam from this season’s outset, and tournament organizers have jumped on the train. Epic Games and Twitch Rivals collaborated to host a Zero Build tournament (https://estnn.com/fortnite-twitch-rivals-450k-zero-build-tournament-everything-you-need-to-know/) featuring content creators and professional Fortnite players. $450K USD is on the line across three regions, and the competition begins this weekend. 

  • April 2 (Europe & Latin America)
  • April 3 (North America)

Epic recently announced the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) and Lightning Cups for this season. However, those dates are unknown at this time. Be sure to check back with ESTNN for more on those tournaments through Chapter 3 Season 2!
