Apex Legends sees yet another loss of viewership while Fortnite stabilizes, and League of Legends sees a boost in hours watched thanks to influencer-driven content.

The following titles are ranked according to the total number of hours watched on Twitch, from Monday to the following Sunday, with data compiled using TEO Analytics.

Dueling Royales

Fortnite Database-Link-e1521645463907 made its comeback last week, beating out Apex Legends for the first time since EA’s Database-Link-e1521645463907 new battle royale hit the market at the beginning of February, and this past week Epic Games’ title maintained its position ahead of the younger battle royale game.

While its 17.11M hours watched was slightly down from the previous week, it was enough to beat out Apex Legends which has seen a decline in hours watched for the third week in a row.

With more than 13M hours watched, Apex Legends is still one of the top three games on Twitch, but the figure is a far cry from the 30M+ hours watched totals it was reaching in its first few weeks at the beginning of February.

League Back at the Top

League of Legends Database-Link-e1521645463907 is consistently one of the most-watched games on Twitch due in part to the title’s massive esports following, but this past week, the game saw a bump in its hours watched thanks largely to a pair of influencers that shook up the top 10 channels chart.

While the game typically hovers around the 20M hours watched total each week, the sharp increase in airtime by the likes of Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp and Hammoudi “Yassuo” Abdalrhman  provided a stimulus package for the title on its way to around a 4M week-over-week increase in total hours watched.

Short-Lived Devil

Capcom’s action-adventure game Devil May Cry 5 had a very short-lived life on Twitch that was driven largely a select few influencers who played the game for around 10 hours following its March 8 release.

The story mode nature of the title made its estimated playthrough time of 8-12 hours, giving it a short life on Twitch. However, that short life was enough to put it in this week’s top 10 after it was streamed by a few popular streamers including Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris.
