It’s finally happening – Epic Games has confirmed that Tilted Towers will return in tomorrow’s patch v19.10 update.
Fortnite Battle Royale captured the attention of gamers worldwide back in 2017. It quickly became the most popular title, drawing millions of viewers and players each year after its release. The game’s building mechanics and unique weekly updates were the foundation of Fortnite’s success. However, nothing became more iconic than the various landing spots and locations spread across the Island.
One location – Tilted Towers – is perhaps the most recognizable point of interest (POI) in Fortnite history. It first debuted during Chapter 1 Season 2 on January 17, 2018. From that point forward, Tilted Towers became the catalyst for viral songs, YouTube videos and Twitch streams everywhere.
Beginning tomorrow, some semblance of what fans remember as Tilted Towers returns to Fortnite. The details are unclear at this point, but the Epic has confirmed that the legendary POI will resurface in Chapter 3 Season 1 Patch v19.10.

OG Fortnite fans might remember the chaos that awaited players at the original Tilted Towers. It separated the good and great players, as only the best could make it out alive. Of course, there are the timeless tournament clips of Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff and Aydan “Aydan” Conrad dueling in the Summer Skirmish before teaming up to dispatch all challengers in the Fall Skirmish.
No matter your memory of Tilted Towers, it’s unquestionably the most well-known landing spot ever. Tilted Towers underwent multiple changes over time. It became Neo Tilted in Chapter 1 Season 9, Tilted Town in Chapter 1 Season X and even came back as Salty Towers in Chapter 2 Season 5. Now, Tilted Towers comes back to Fortnite in the first season of Chapter 3.

It’s unclear what version of Tilted Towers we’ll see early tomorrow morning when the patch downtime concludes. The location is currently covered in ice at the Frosty Fields landmark. Several data miners early this season discovered that Tilted would return once the ice melts.
We’ll have to see what happens tomorrow morning after Epic Games deploys patch v19.10. Content creators such as NICKMERCS and Aydan have already teased a Fortnite stream when Tilted Towers comes back to the game. Other legends such as Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Jack “CouRageJD” Dunlop have been on the Fortnite grind of late.
At the very least, we can expect a resurgence of old players as Epic Games brings back Tilted Towers in an entirely new chapter of Fortnite Battle Royale.
