Zeus & XANTARES banned on Twitch for racial slurring » TalkEsport

According to StreamerBans, Ismailcan ‘XANTARES’ Dörtkardeş and Danylo ‘Zeus’ Teslenko have been banned on their respective Twitch accounts.

After XANTARES‘s Twitch account was banned, the community who was still seeking for the reason behind the same got to know about it from a Twitter user’s reply on StreamerBan’s tweet. According to him, XANTARES was attaching the cable of his new mouse and that’s when he was allegedly called a pig by someone on voice chat after the latter heard Ismailcan breathing into his mic. On hearing this, XANTARES did reply with a Turkish slur which is believed to be a direct threat to someone.

XANTARES currently plays under the banner of BIG Clan, a German Esports team.

Along with the above player, former Natus Vincere In-Game leader Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko’s Twitch account was also banned after the 32yo Ukrainian used a homophobic slur in Russian.

As we can witness here, Twitch has a zero tolerance policy regarding the above and it does breaks the code of conduct if someone uses racial slurs on their stream. These bans were inculcated in the last 24 hours and as of now, the players haven’t reacted to their bans.

This news isn’t shocking as Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev from Natus Vincere had been banned twice as his Twitch, the latest one being on 13th of August 2019 after he had called one of his teammates with a racial homophobic slur but in a jokingly manner.

In defense, s1mple did state about Twitch being a terrible platform after it’s strict user policy got into his nerves.
