Not a lot of people thought FunPlus Phoenix could win Worlds.
They were misfits. They played a weird style. They were unconventional, coin-flippy, dark horses at best.
In every match, against every opponent, they were doubted. The cynics always went back to their weird, offbeat style and their midlaner who refused to play by the rules.
But with every win, FPX proved their style could win – that even if they looked like five unlikely champions individually, together they were unbeatable.
