When GeT_RiGhT cried at ESL One Cologne, it wasn’t just because he lost the tournament. His tears marked the end of an era, something nobody wanted to say out loud.
But the fans were crying too. Because GeT_RiGhT’s partnership with f0rest was over. That he was basically breaking up with his teammate and friend of over a decade.
Their relationship transcends both NiP and CSGO. It’s a relationship that lives in the entire scene’s hearts, a relationship that brought everyone closer to the game, and to each other.

It's because they're legends man. if someone in this community actually didn't have respect and great regard for gtr and f0rest I'm sorry but I could never respect you as a member of this community, we can be friends tho lol. They were nothing short of gods in a period of 1.6 that was at its peak in terms of talent and how much the game had progressed at that point in time.

When GTR left NIP part of my interest in csgo died with that. Its obv a bunch of things comming together but I havent watched nearly as much cs since then (You guys killing your App is another reason!! If anyone has a good csgo liveticker app pls help me out). Just felt klinda lost with the team I always cheered on finnaly breaking apart (it was a slow process with friberg and Xist leaving but this was the final blow) I wish them both all the best for the future.
I don't cry often, but whenever I see an interview with GTR I know it's going to be emotional
