Why not add another if you already have one awful DPS? That’s the Atlanta reign plan, which has signed the Overwatch League Kim “Edison” Tae-hoon for 2020. Edison has a long list of accomplishments and comes from Overwatch Contenders Koa, Korea.
Since early 2018 Edison has been a member of GC Busan Wave’s active Korean Contenders team. In early competitive Overwatch teams, he even played an off-tank role. In a “clip pack” shared by the Atlanta Reign, this dark hero’s pool revealed his signature. The number of headshots in the video should be heaven for Atlanta fans.
It’ll probably play together with DPS Jeong “ErsTer” Joon even if it is not clear what position Edison will have on the 2020 Atlanta Reign roster. ErsTer’s Hanzo and Reaper last year were the bane of the lives of many fans. The DPS dominance of ErsTer was one of the reasons for the flawless 7-0 fourth run of the Atlanta Reign.
DPS Ilya “NLaaeR” Koppalov was released earlier in this week by Atlanta Reign; Edison is a hero pool replacement. The Reign remained silent until recently about its 2020 decisions. Their first player update reveals last season was Seo “Daco” Dong-Hyeong, off-tank, released last week.
With the Atlanta Reign, like Edison, only three teams have officially signed up. It includes Blake’s “Gator” Scott’s main tank and the off-tank, ATL Academy’s Xander “Hawk” Domecq.
Eight players ‘ lists must be sent to the league by all Overwatch League teams by 15 November.
