Steam Sale goes live for ‘Singles day’

by eSportsJunkie Staff

11 November is the Day of the Singles because the 11-11 date is a tradition that started in China as a joke excuse for blind dates and parties. It is now the largest online trading event in the world with almost USD 31 billion from last year, thanks to an e-commerce site called Alibaba, which is used as an excuse to make a profit.

Steam is currently selling its own Singles ‘ Day, which provides a combination of Single and multiplayer titles. It’s a pretty eclectic range. For eg, Divinity: original Sin 2 off 45%, a package of Telltale’s Batman games off 67%, or Dragons Ball Xenovers off 80%.

On 12 November, Single Day will be available before 08:00 in the Pacific.
