- Esports apparel brand We Are Nations has announced a partnership and collaboration with the ’47 traditional sports apparel company.
- The companies began their partnership earlier this month with the release of Team Liquid’s LCS Spring Finals winner’s hat.
- Additional products are being created for other We Are Nations partners. The company currently offers merchandise for G2, OpTic Gaming, the LCS, and more.
Apparel brands from the esports and traditional sports worlds are colliding as We Are Nations today announced a partnership with ’47, a brand best known for its licensed sports caps.
The companies will collaborate on esports headwear and other merchandise. The first fruits of their partnership was seen earlier this month at the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Spring Finals in St. Louis, as Team Liquid
According to a release, We Are Nations and ’47 are working together on additional products for other We Are Nations teams and league clients. The company currently works with such teams as G2 Esports
“It’s really important for Nations to work with leading traditional sports brands as I believe there is a growing crossover into mainstream sports,” said We Are Nations CEO Patrick Mahoney, in a release. “We couldn’t be more excited to be working with ’47 moving forward.”

The privately-held ’47 creates apparel for the four largest traditional sports leagues in North America—the MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL—along with more than 900 collegiate sports programs.
“Esports is a fascinating space that we’re just scratching the surface in,” said ’47 co-owner Steven D’Angelo, in a release. “It’s exciting to see the passion and allegiance these fans have for gaming, and we are thrilled to be able to provide our premium product to the mix by partnering with We Are Nations.”
