Two games in NFL Preseason Friday Night

by Mat Pellizer

TGIF! And thanks God we have NFL. Two games are taking place this Friday Night in NFL Preseason and it is time to check the odds and details for both. We have the Carolina Panthers visiting the New York Giants and the Atlanta Falcons hosting the Cincinnati Bengals. Who wins each game?

Carolina Panthers @ New York Giants – 7:00 PM (ET)

The first game of the night brings us another chance to see the No. 1 overall pick from the last NFL Draft, QB Bryce Young. Last week the Panthers lost the game without scoring a single point. Young also didn’t play well. Carolina fans are hoping to see better things tonight.

Meanwhile, the Giants also lost the first game, but with a much more levelled game. Their second and third strings QBs managed to score 16 points in Detroit. And we should see more of Tommy Devito and Tyrod Taylor tonight as Daniel Jones should not play again. Check out the predictions for this game here.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Atlanta Falcons – 7:30 PM (ET)

A few minutes after the beginning of the previous game, we will have the Bengals visiting the Falcons in Atlanta. Cincinnati also lost their first game against the Green Bay Packers and should also come to this game once again without Joe Burrow. Expect to see many snaps to Trevor Siemian and Jake Browing.

On the other hand, the Falcons are the only team, playing tonight that won their game in Week 1. After beating the Dolphins on the road, they will try to beat the Bengals tonight while they are still figuring out who will start at QB in Week 1. Last game Logan Woodside played the whole game while Desmond Ridder watched the game from the sideline.

According to BetMGM, the Atlanta Falcons are huge favorites for this game. The spread in favor of the home team is at 6.5 points. The over/under is at 38.5 points. Cincinnati’s first game had 55 points (36-19), but Atlanta’s only had 22 (19-3). So take the spread in favor of the Bengals (+6.5) on this game at -110 as they shouldn’t lose by many points again (neither should the Falcons win by much).
