  • The brand worked with 100 Thieves founder and CEO Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag to design the in-game items.

Snack brand Totino’s has announced a partnership with Activision Blizzard for October’s launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, with the brand awarding exclusive in-game content via its products.

Specially-marked packages of Totino’s Pizza Rolls, Mini Snack Bites, and Multi-Pack Party Pizza will feature codes that can be used to unlock in-game items, including a calling card, watch, and charm. Additionally, retailer Walmart will exclusively have codes that offer players double the in-game experience points while playing.

Totino’s worked with 100 Thieves founder and CEO Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag to design the items. Haag is a former Call of Duty pro player, and Totino’s was announced as a founding partner for 100 Thieves’ Call of Duty team in February, and in April the brand also sponsored 100 Thieves’ Fortnite team.

“As a long-standing partner in the esports community, it was a no-brainer to team up with Activision ahead of the highly-anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare release,” said Totino’s Director of Marketing Justin Conzemius, in a release. “We had a blast working with Nadeshot to design unique in-game content that reflects his personal style, and allows us as a brand to really level up the gaming experience for players and fans.”

Totino’s is the presenting sponsor for 100 Thieves’ “The CouRage and Nadeshot Show” recording at TwitchCon this weekend, plus the snack brand has a booth at the event.

Today’s partnership and promotion announcement comes after 100 Thieves recently pulled out of professional Call of Duty, after opting not to pursue a franchise slot for next year’s geolocated league. 100 Thieves won two Majors in the Call of Duty World League (CWL) this year, and was the runner-up at August’s CWL championship.
