The Toronto Defiant, OverActive Media’s Overwatch League team, announced a multi-year partnership with SkipTheDishes, a Canadian fast food-grocery delivery company that connects people to local restaurants. Now the “Official Food Delivery Service of the Defiant,” the partnership will see the two entities collaborate on creating content and activations. No financial details of the deal were released.
SkipTheDishes’ participation with the Defiant begins at the team’s first homestand taking place from April 18-19. Other activations include allowing fans that watch the livestream to participate with social media collaborations between both brands, giveaways, and discounts to SkipTheDishes’ services.
OverActivemedia has had success bringing big brands to the Defiant’s sponsorship portfolio, signing deals with the likes of Canon Canada and Universal Music Canada in the past.
