Playoff Potential
The LCS and LEC Spring Split Playoffs on Riot Games’ Twitch channel led all other channels in terms of viewership for the first week of April, generating 3.5M hours watched with an average of 58K CCV, peaking at 293K.

Despite the weekend only including two matches for each league, the best-of-five nature of LCS and LEC playoffs boosted Riot Games’ airtime total to 54.43 hours, well above average airtime during the regular season that hovered around 45 hours.
While more teams played during the regular season, as opposed to the eight that played this weekend, regular season matches were best-of-one. So even though, two of the weekend’s matches were three-game sweeps, the channel was able to post more hours of airtime than it typically does when peripheral coverage and re-runs are accounted for.
Maintenance Work
Jaryd “Summit1g” Lazar has seen the top personality on Twitch for the fourth week in a row, posting 2.5M hours watched. Lazar continued to play Grand Theft Auto V role play exclusively during the week. Despite the total being his lowest over the four-week span, this week included one of Lazar’s only days off from streaming since March 12. Taking off April 2 ended Lazar’s 14-day streak of broadcasting.

Over the four-week period, no channel, including Riot Games, has posted more hours watched. The closest influencer to matching Lazar’s 12.1M hours watched total was Turner “Tfue” Tenney with 8.1M hours watched.
