The ESI Hall of Fame was brought to life for one reason: to give credit and recognition to the instrumental individuals that have helped shape this industry into what it is today.
Over the last two years, we’ve welcomed six exceptional people to the ESI Hall of Fame and the trend is set to continue with three stalwarts joining the ranks on 27th April in New York City. The Hall of Fame forms part of the wider ESI New York conference, our industry leading event spanning two days in the heart of Manhattan.
Tickets are available for the Hall of Fame only, or for the full ESI New York conference, and can be purchased here.
Following on from the inaugural show at the iconic Natural History Museum in London in 2018, we took the show on the road with Nixon Peabody LLP’s rooftop providing an idyllic Los Angeles skyline for the perfect backdrop as we ushered in another three legends.
Taking place at the end of the first day of ESI New York; a day which will see five start-ups pitch to our panel of esteemed investors in The Clutch USA, attendees will enjoy free-flowing drinks and canapés as we celebrate the outstanding achievements of our class of 2020.

Sam Cooke, Managing Director and Co-founder of Esports Insider, commented: “Although esports has hit the spotlight in recent years, it’s important to remember it hasn’t always been that way. There’s an array of talented people that have been working hard behind the scenes for decades and have been instrumental in the industry’s continued growth. The Hall of Fame isn’t designed to recognise your Rekkles’ or s1mple’s of the world, but the people behind the scenes who have helped facilitate just where we are today. We’ve already a strong six names in the Hall of Fame, and this year will absolutely be no different.”
