EA and Respawn announce Apex Legends Global Series
Apex Legends publisher EA and developer Respawn Entertainment announced the Apex Legends Global Series.
The tournament series will be comprised of 12 events – held by either EA and Respawn, PGL, or Global Loot League – with a total prize pool of $3 million (£2.28 million) up for grabs.

BLAST Premier reveals competing teams and London stop
BLAST announced the 12 partnered teams that will participate in its BLAST Premier circuit for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
The teams that have agreed to compete in the circuit are as follows: 100 Thieves, Astralis, Complexity Gaming, Evil Geniuses, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, MIBR, Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pyjamas, OG, Team Liquid, and Team Vitality.

DreamHack restructures management, launches DreamHack Sports Games
DreamHack Sports Games, which aims to build a bridge between esports and traditional sports, was announced. the new entity has already launched eDivisie, Danish eSuperliga, and European eTour with traditional sports companies.
DreamHack’s former Co-CEO Peter Nørrelund was appointed as CEO of DreamHack Sports Games and is being replaced by Roger Lodewick, who will serve as Co-CEO alongside Marcus Lindmark.

Riot Games announces Pacific Championship Series
Riot Games unveiled the Pacific Championship Series (PCS), a regional league for Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
The PCS is the result of a merger between League of Legends Master Series (LMS) and League of Legends Southeast Asia Tour (LST).
