Team SoloMid parent company Swift has acquired the Blitz Esports App, according to an ESPN report. Blitz Esports is a competitive gaming companion app for League of Legends
According to uncited ESPN sources familiar with the transaction, Swift acquired Blitz Esports in November for a multi-million dollar sum. Swift will continue to develop and service the desktop app, which entered beta testing in June 2018. Blitz Esports is not endorsed by League of Legends developer, Riot Games

The esports brand has almost three million accumulated followers on social media. Sponsorship deals have included Chipotle, Gillette, Dr. Pepper, and G Fuel, among others.
