Team Secret has signed a multi-year brand sponsorship and streaming deal with Huya, one of China’s largest OTT gaming platforms.

The agreement will see Team Secret professional players steam on Huya and engage in other content activation initiatives, while the organization receives marketing and promotional capabilities in China.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Along with its Dota 2 team—which has won five Major championships to date—Team Secret competes in Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite, among other games. It is the latest esports team outside of China to have partnered with Huya, including Team Liquid and Griffin.

Huya recently added former PWC Hong Kong and China partner Tsang Wah Kwong to its board of directors and reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2020 with net revenues of $338M USD and a profit of $24M.
