Team Envy Enter FLASHPoint League with $2m buy in

The North American Envy Gaming organisation purchased FLASHPOINT, the future FACEIT CSGO League.

Team Envy will become the League’s seventh founding team, with a $2 million (€1.55 million) buy-in fee.

The FlashPoint League has recently partnered with Pinnacle and DHL.

Team Envy is a member of MIBR’s Immortals Gaming Club, OverActive Media, Cloud9, Gen. G. and c0ntact Gaming as the team-owners founding partner.

Mike Rufail, Owner and CEO of Envy Gaming said, “We are excited about the future of competitive CSGO. For five years Team Envy was a feature of the game. The next chapter of our legacy Counter-Strike is set for the Envy fans everywhere with a new roster and home for our squad at FLASHPOINT in the start of 2020.”

According to the official website of the League, there will be 10 founding partner teams for its inaugural use, Envy Gaming operates under the Dallas Fuel Overwatch League and under the Dallas Empire Duty League.
