Summit1G, Dakotaz, and JoshOG Extend Twitch Partnerships, Sign Exclusive Multi-Year Contracts

Twitch has expanded its content creation deals with gaming streamers Jaryd “Summit1G” Lazar, Brett “Dakotaz” Hoffman, and Josh “JoshOG” Beaver by signing the trio to exclusive multi-year contracts. With the new deals in place, the three will continue to stream exclusively on Twitch. All three deals were facilitated by Loaded, the agency representing the streamers.

Financial terms of these deals were not disclosed.

The trio will continue to create content on their respective channels and will participate in Twitch gaming events and activations throughout the year.   

With over 10M followers combined, Lazar often finds his stream being one of the Top-10 on Twitch in terms of hours watched. Lazar is one of the most popular gaming personalities on the platform, with over 5M followers on Twitch. Recently, he has averaged nearly 200K concurrent viewers per stream during the launch of VALORANT closed beta.

Starting his streaming career in 2011 on Twitch, Hoffman has accumulated 4.3M followers to date. In 2018 his Twitch channel was one of the 10 most-watched, and he was voted the best Fortnite streamer in a Red Bull poll. Additionally, he has 3M subscribers on YouTube, 4.9M followers on Instagram, and 1.5M followers on Twitter

Beaver, who started on Twitch in 2014, has gained 1.73M followers on Twitch, 304K followers on YouTube, 359.7K followers on Twitter, and 31.5K followers on Instagram. Mostly known for his positive community which refers to themselves as “Ducks,” Beaver is an avid Call of Duty: Warzone player.

As the streaming platform battles continue to unfold and the landscape starts taking shape, Twitch has seen a 17% quarter-over-quarter increase in hours watched, a 33% increase in the number of unique channels, and a quarterly record in average concurrent viewership at 1.4M, according StreamLabs and Stream Hatchet data.
