Strafe, a mobile app that provides real-time scores, statistics, and news for a number of esports games, has raised $3M in seed funding.
The round was led by BITKRAFT Esports Ventures , the dedicated early-stage esports investment fund. BITKRAFT has invested in many industry startups since it was founded in 2017, including H4X.gg , Epics.gg , PlayBrain , and Network Next .
Strafe currently covers eight games, including League of Legends , Counter-Strike: Global Offensive , and Dota 2 , and features 2,600 teams and 12,000 players in its database. The app also includes a social betting mechanic that allows users to earn points and compete for leaderboard placement by choosing winners for esports matches.

BITKRAFT Esports Ventures’ original venture capital fund raised $18.5M. The company filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a second fund in January, with plans to raise up to $125M. In June, BITKRAFT partnered with Roundhill Investments for the Roundhill BITKRAFT Esports & Digital Entertainment ETF (NERD ETF).
