With the Team Liquid StarLeague 5 (TSL 5) returning after an eight-year hiatus, Secretlab will return as a supporter and sponsor. Started by Team Liquid in 2008 for StarCraft: Brood War, TSL 5 will run from May 16 – June 7, 2020. The last tournament was held in 2012. Secretlab will join sponsors Shopify, Twitch, and Ting, in working with Team Liquid to support the StarCraft II (SC2) community through the TSL.
As part of the sponsorship deal, Secretlab and Team Liquid will be hosting a special contest, where the winner will walk away with a Secretlab Team Liquid Edition gaming chair. The winner will be announced during the final weekend of TSL 5, June 6-7.
The tournament will see a total prize pool of $30K USD and feature on-air talent such as Kevin “RotterdaM” van der Kooi, Jonathon “Wardi” Ward, and Jessica “ZombieGrub” Chernega, with Sean “Day[9]” Plott as a special guest.
