Riot Games Europe has revealed two additional sponsors for its LEC Spring Finals event taking place April 13-14 in Rotterdam. Sanquin, a Dutch blood bank, and GoDaddy, a domain registrar and web hosting company, will lend their support to the event along with the league’s regular season sponsors.
Sanquin previously partnered with Riot Games for the #MyFirstBlood blood drive campaign in August 2018, and sponsored the first ever Dutch broadcast for the Summer Finals of the European League of Legends
Similar to last year, Sanquin’s logo will appear every time “First Blood” is achieved in-game. In addition, attendees at the Spring Finals who sign up to donate blood will unlock the League of Legends champion Vladamir, whose attacks and character are themed around blood.
More information on the collaboration between the LEC and GoDaddy will be revealed at a later date.
