The League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), Riot Games’ North American professional League of Legends competition, has partnered with Samsung, who will supply the league with PC hardware and sponsor a new broadcast segment. Samsung will provide the LCS PCs with NVMe M.2 solid-state drives and launch the Samsung SSD Fast Five, a segment that will track how quickly LCS players reach key benchmarks.

The Samsung SSD Fast Five will be a recurring segment tracking players’ speed in reaching in-game milestones. At the end of Summer Playoffs, Samsung and the LCS will determine and recognize the Fast Five team of the fastest players in each position.

The LCS is scheduled to start this Saturday, June 12, with Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses slated as the opener at 1 p.m. EST.
