, the esports infrastructure services company that owns the Rogue organization, today announced a $10.8M Series A funding round. The round was led by entrepreneur and philanthropist Nick Gross, who will join the ReKTGlobal board.

Additional investors in the Series A include Rogue co-owner Steve Aoki, members of rock band Imagine Dragons and its manager Mac Reynolds, Live Nation, Maverick Management partner Larry Rudolph, 1916 Management founder Jonny Gordon, and Ozone Entertainment founder Bret Disend. Further investors in the entertainment, media, and sports industries were not specifically named in the release.
ReKTGlobal will use the new financing to help fund Rogue’s franchise participation in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), which begins play this weekend, along with further global expansion for the organization.

ReKTGlobal acquired majority ownership in Rogue from Aoki in December 2017, as announced last January. Imagine Dragons and its management became investors in May 2018, with two members becoming co-owners of Rogue in the process. Gross was an early investor in ReKTGlobal, and last year, his Find Your Grind organization co-founded the Junior Rogue program to award scholarships and offer brand-building opportunities to young Fortnite players. Rogue and Find Your Grind plan to expand the program following this funding round.
