has announced details for Rocket League‘sThe Esports Shop will go live in the game next week on April 16, as announced last week, and the pilot program will initially feature branded items from 11 organizations that play in the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS). North American teams Cloud9
Each organization will have branded decals for two of the game’s most popular cars (Octane and Dominus), along with a player banner and various wheel options. Items can be purchased with premium Esports Tokens currency, which will be available in packs ranging from $0.99 USD to $19.99 USD (or regional equivalent), and rather than have a fully-stocked store at all times, the Esports Shop will rotate in six items daily that are available for purchase.
The partnered organizations will earn 30% of the revenue from the sale of their respective branded items. Additionally, an unspecified portion of revenue from item sales will be awarded to RLCS players in North America and Europe as a prize pool bonus—and that also applies to players on teams that aren’t part of the pilot program.

No Oceanic or South American teams are currently part of the revenue-sharing esports items program, but Psyonix’s blog post on the announcement said that the possibility of those regions’ organizations getting involved “will be addressed in future seasons.”
RLCS Season 7 kicked off league play this past weekend, with a $1M total prize pool for the season. The season’s World Championship will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, from June 21-23.
