Fullcube typically works with brands in sports, media, and entertainment, though this acquisition suggests it’ll focus more on esports moving forward.

Amish Shah, Founder and Chairman of ReKTGlobal discussed the acquisition in a release: “Through our acquisition of Fullcube and its premier technology, we’re going all in on the enthusiastic fanbases through the creation of loyalty programs and monetization by bringing best practices from the sports, media and entertainment world to esports.”

ReKTGlobal’s Rogue Nation, the official subscription-based fan club for its Rogue organisation, was launched in partnership with Fullcube in July. The program is described as a “recurring revenue-generating initiative” in a release, and is said to have accrued “thousands of engaged club members.”

Parrish McIntyre, CEO and Co-founder of Fullcube also commented: “This is an exciting day for the Fullcube team. We’ve only begun scratching the surface of the esports industry and are now in a unique position to leverage what we’ve done for traditional sports leagues, teams and other enthusiast audiences to help ReKTGlobal deliver exponential value to the esports fanbase. ReKT has a unique vision for the intersection of esports, music and entertainment, and we’re excited to put our technology and experience to work in support of it.”

ReKTGlobal has a host of celebrity investors, including the likes of Nicky Romero, Marco “Tainy” Masís, Lex Borrero, members of Imagine Dragons, and DJ Steve Aoki. Just a couple of months after streamer and Fortnite competitor Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo acquired equity in the company, French NBA player Rudy Gobert was announced as an investor.

Esports Insider says: Evidently Rogue Nation has been a success! While Fullcube isn’t an esports-specific company, it’s hard to imagine that ReKTGlobal won’t want Fullcube to expand its footprint in this particular industry after witnessing the success of its own fan program.
