Yesterday, esports business and League of Legends European Championship (LEC) contender Rogue and Call of Duty League franchise London Royal Ravens parent company ReKTGlobal announced its acquisition of Fullcube, a relationship management platform. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Earlier this year, ReKTGlobal and Fullcube collectively launched the Rogue Nation fan membership program. The companies plan to introduce similar fan solutions for esports teams globally following the business combination.
“Through our acquisition of Fullcube and its premier technology, we’re going all-in on the enthusiastic fanbases through the creation of loyalty programs and monetization by bringing best practices from the sports, media, and entertainment world to esports,” said Amish Shah, founder and chairman of ReKTGlobal.
Recently, New York-based ReKTGlobal announced the addition of the Utah Jazz’s Rudy Gobert as its first professional sports athlete investor, expanding the company’s business team of entertainment industry members including EDM musician Steve Aoki, DJ Nick” Nicky Romero” Rotteveel van Gotum, members of the band Imagine Dragons, rapper and songwriter Kiari Kendrell “Offset” Cephus, and Latin music producer Marco “Tainy” Masís.
Earlier this month, the company revealed its new Call of Duty League London franchise, the Royal Ravens. Additionally, ReKTGlobal closed a multi-year deal with streamer and influencer Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo and appointed esports industry veteran and Dignitas founder Michael “ODEE” O’Dell as chief gaming officer. ReKTGlobal also acquired Greenlit Content.
