Ubisoft Database-Link-e1521645463907 has announced the signing of Acer’s Predator Database-Link-e1521645463907 brand as a sponsor for the Rainbow Six Pro League for Rainbow Six Siege Database-Link-e1521645463907, which begins Season X play next week.

Called the publisher’s “largest and most ambitious sponsorship ever” for the Rainbow Six Pro League and Majors in a release, the exclusive partnership will span North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific, with the deal lasting until November 2020. It begins with Pro League Season X next week, as well as the Six Major Raleigh 2019 tournament in August.

As the official PC and monitor sponsor, Acer Predator will supply desktop and laptop computers, as well as monitors for offline league matches and warm-up sessions. The company will also activate at live Rainbow Six Siege tournaments with a booth providing hands-on opportunities with new in-game content. Ubisoft will also introduce an unlockable Predator-themed in-game item, and the companies will collaborate on fan giveaways.

“Both Acer and Ubisoft share a strong commitment to support esports professional teams and [the] fan base, and we cannot wait to showcase the full extent of this partnership during our next events,” said Ubisoft EMEA Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Geoffroy Sardin, in a release. “Partnering with such a key esports and technology expert reinforces our confidence in the success, current and future, of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six esports as it keeps on growing and maturing.”

Season X of the Rainbow Six Pro League features a prize pool of $626K USD for both the regular season and playoffs, and introduces a revised schedule that splits each region’s weekly matches across two days rather than one. Additionally, the league has removed auto-relegation for the last-place team. Now, the two weakest Pro League teams will face the top two Challenger League teams in a single-elimination tournament to see who plays in which league the following season.
