  • Apparel brand Puma has announced a two-year sponsorship of ORDER.
  • ORDER players will wear Puma gear as part of the deal, which is exclusive within Australia.
  • Puma also sponsors Cloud9 and is working on a broad retail rollout for team-branded apparel.

After signing its first team sponsorship deal with Cloud9 earlier this year, non-endemic apparel brand Puma has announced a partnership with Oceanic esports organization ORDER.

The two-year deal—which is exclusive within the Austalian market—will see ORDER players don Puma gear. It’s not yet known whether the Puma plans to release ORDER-branded apparel to consumers, but ORDER CEO Chris Derrick said in a release that “this announcement is just the beginning of the partnership, and we can’t wait to collaborate with Puma as ORDER continues to grow in the future.”

Puma made its first step into esports in January with a short-term sponsorship of Cloud9’s League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) team during the Spring Split. In May, the companies announced a broader multi-year deal that covers all of the organization’s teams and includes branded Cloud9 apparel that will be available throughout Puma’s global retail footprint.

“We see esports as a growth market for Puma—not just in Australia, but globally, said Puma Oceania general manager Pancho Gutstein, in a release. “ORDER is a leader in their space and it’s our privilege to play a role in their future successes. We’re excited to welcome ORDER to the Puma family and look forward to building together.”

ORDER is also sponsored by Alienware and Monash University, and currently competes in Overwatch, League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, World of Warcraft, and Street Fighter V.
