Pennsylvania-based esports organization Pittsburgh Knights
has signed a deal with regional convenience store chain Sheetz. The Sheetz logo will now be featured on Knights jerseys. Financial terms were not disclosed. The organizations will collaborate on additional activations, though details were not available at this time.“Sheetz is such a great fit for gaming culture,” said Pittsburgh Knights president James O’Connor in a release. “People play video games at night and suddenly realize it’s late and they’re hungry; Sheetz runs are a real thing.”
The convenience store chain was founded in Pennsylvania, and has 589 locations in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland.

The Knights are a uniquely geolocated organization. While the team is affiliated with its own city by name, it is not part of any geolocated league or competition. However, the organization has made several moves to establish itself as a representative of Pittsburgh. Last year, the Knights received an investment from the city’s NFL franchise, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
