“Whether it is fans coming back for the nail-biting drama or avid gamers trying to study the strategy of professionals, many viewers are nostalgic about past shows” PGL Esports CEO Silviu Stroie said in a release. “Make.TV allows our fans to relive these moments by enabling us to broadcast archived footage across any platform, while at the same time empowering us to open up new revenue models through cross-platform advertising.”

Romania-based PGL hosts worldwide tournaments for a variety of games, including Dota 2 (the Bucharest Minor in January) and FIFA (the Singapore stop on the FIFA 2019 Global Tour), as well as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Hearthstone, and PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS.
