Paris Legion Team Branding Announced for Call of Duty League

The Paris Legion, the team branding for the Call of Duty League franchise owned by c0ntact Gaming, was announced today. This marks the 12th and final team brand announced for Activision Blizzard’s league.

The team’s logo features a fleur-de-lis symbol, which is associated with the French monarchy and nobility, as well as an orange-and-red color scheme. “Defenders of liberty and innovation have always found refuge in Paris,” reads a post on the league website. “We will be worthy of our city’s traditions: fighting, conquest, and fraternity.”

Along with the Paris Legion, the Call of Duty League’s teams include the Atlanta FaZe, Chicago Huntsmen, Dallas Empire, Florida Mutineers, London Royal Ravens, Los Angeles Guerrillas, Minnesota Røkkr, New York Subliners, OpTic Gaming Los Angeles, Seattle Surge, and Toronto Ultra.

The Call of Duty League will begin play with a launch weekend event from Jan. 24-26, 2020, hosted by the Minnesota Røkkr at the Minneapolis Armory. All 12 teams will compete over the course of the weekend, and each team will host two homestand weekends in its home city during the inaugural 2020 season.
