North announced two new brand partnerships: one with online bookmaker Pinnacle and another with apparel brand We Are Nations .
Pinnacle was the official bookmaker of BLAST Pro Series 2018 and in March, the bookmaker partnered with FACEIT as a sponsor of the Esports Championship Series (ECS) 2019. North marks the company’s first dedicated team partnership.
Pinnacle’s logo will be featured on North’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) team jerseys as part of an 18-month deal. The partnership will also include content creation, according to a release.
“This is a massive deal for us,” said Marco Blume, trading director at Pinnacle in a statement. “We have waited so long for a team partnership because we wanted to make sure we signed with an organization that matched our ambition and desire to take esports to the next level. North certainly ticked all the boxes and we’re really excited to start working together to enhance the experience for esports fans around the world.”

Esports apparel brand We Are Nations signed two partnership deals this week that includes North and OG, the winning team of Dota 2‘s The International 2018. We Are Nations will become the official clothing partner for both teams. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Partnering up with the team at We Are Nations is an obvious choice for us,” said Jonas Gundersen, CCO at North in a release. “Our ambition of how to build a modern esports organization correlates so well with how We Are Nations approaches the gaming apparel space.”
