- The NHL Gaming World Championship 2019 for NHL 19 will have seven sponsors, each of which will activate at a Regional Final and/or the World Final.
- Honda and Scotiabank are returning sponsors from 2018, with Adidas, ASTRO Gaming, Brisk, Great Clips, and MGM Resorts added for this year’s tournament.
- The World Final will be held at the HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas on June 18, with a total $100K USD prize pool for the entire tournament.
The National Hockey League today announced its full list of sponsors for the NHL Gaming World Championship for 2019, along with planned activations for the NHL 19 tournament.
Honda and Scotiabank are returning sponsors from last year’s inaugural event. The car brand is a North American partner for the event, and will sponsor the “Road to the Finals” interview area for the Regional Finals and World Final. Meanwhile, Canadian partner Scotiabank will sponsor a Fan Vote during the Canadian Regional live stream that will award one competitor and a fan a trip to the World Final in Las Vegas.
Joining those sponsors are five newcomers: Adidas, ASTRO Gaming

ASTRO Gaming will provide the official controller and headsets of the World Championship, with its C40 TR Controller, A40 TR Headset, and MixAmp Pro TR used at the events. Drink brand Brisk will provide drinks at the Canadian Regional and World Final, while hair salon franchise Great Clips will sponsor the Friends and Family Cheering Zone and provide haircuts to players and talent at the U.S. Regional and World Final.
Lastly, MGM is the official resort destination of the event, as the World Final will be held at Allied Esports’
