The eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series and the Dota 2 ESL One Los Angeles events have been cleared and approved by the Nevada Gaming Control Board for wagering. On April 3 the Nevada Gaming Control Board granted approval and listed the provisions of regulations required to go forward for both events.
For the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series, two types of bets will be allowed: winner of the race and head-to-head winner between drivers. Those betting on ESL One Los Angeles will be allowed to wager on head-to-head matchups, match winners, and the overall tournament winner.
Provisions for licensing each of these events include a posting of the official rules for the tournament organizer and that all bets must cease once a match or race has started. Additionally, each bookmaker is allowed to create its own odds.
With sports world-wide being canceled, sportsbooks have turned to esports to keep the betting industry going. Last week, the Nevada Gaming Control Board approved wagering on two Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competitions: the current seasons of the professional level ESL Pro League, and the German regional ESL Meisterschaft.
