THE TICKET, a 20-game, single-elimination tournament featuring all 21 NBA 2K League 
teams, will be played at Full Sail University’s The Fortress arena in Winter Park, Florida — part of the greater Orlando area.
The event takes place next week from June 13-15, with all games streamed live via both Twitch and YouTube. THE TICKET is the third tournament of the 2019 NBA 2K League season, following THE TIPOFF and THE TURN, and the winner of this latest event will earn a spot in the league playoffs beginning July 24. The teams will also compete for a share of a $180K total prize pool, with just over half of that ($90,720) going to the winning squad.

As with the two previous tournaments, the winners of THE TICKET will also receive a steel championship banner that is part of THE BANNER CHAIN powered by AT&T. 76ers GC
and Warriors Gaming Squad won the previous banners, respectively. THE TICKET is the second NBA 2K League tournament to be held outside of New York, as last month’s THE TURN tournament was held at the HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas.
Full Sail University is already a sponsor of Magic Gaming
, the NBA 2K League team of the Orlando Magic. However, Magic Gaming does not appear to be hosting this event. The Esports Observer has reached out to the team for clarification.
The Fortress arena can seat more than 500 spectators, and also accommodate more than 100 competitors for larger-scale events. Official league outfitter Champion will produce exclusive NBA 2K League apparel for the event, which will also feature musical performances and photo opportunities with the NBA 2K League Championship trophy.
