Spanish digital services platform imagin will partner with MAD Lions, focusing on the organization’s team in the League of Legends Superliga Orange competition. The collaboration includes co-creation of new products and hosting fan events, including the MAD Lions Affinity card and members program.
In addition, MAD Lions will occupy an imaginCafé gaming space in central Barcelona, serving as a training facility for the team when it visits the city.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
As well as competing in the League of Legends European Championship MAD Lions runs a development team in the Spanish European Regional League (ERL). As a company, MAD Lions was founded in Madrid in 2017, before it was later acquired by Canadian firm Overactive Media in 2019.
