Lenovo North America to Sponsor Team SoloMid Training Facility Lounge

Team SoloMid has added Lenovo North America as its official PC sponsor.

Lenovo will outfit the Lenovo Legion Lounge at TSM’s upcoming Los Angeles training facility with PC hardware.

Lenovo will also hold exclusive events and giveaways with TSM.

(TSM) today announced a partnership with Lenovo North America, with the PC hardware company set to provide its products for a gaming lounge at the team’s upcoming training facility.

As TSM’s exclusive PC partner, Lenovo will help build out the Lenovo Legion Lounge at TSM’s 25,000-square-foot training headquarters, which is currently under construction in Los Angeles. The lounge will feature PC setups built around Lenovo’s Legion gaming hardware brand, plus TSM’s in-house content team will also have access to Lenovo technology.

Additionally, according to a release, Lenovo plans to host TSM-centric events and giveaways. This is the first esports sponsorship deal for Lenovo North America.

“With the esports audience projected to surpass NFL viewership and reach 276 million by 2022, Lenovo is excited to partner with a veteran team that helped to elevate the popularity of esports in the U.S.,” said Lenovo’s North American president Matt Zielinski, in a release. “We understand the tremendous growth potential of this market, and this partnership is a great complement to our investments in bringing professional-grade gaming experiences to avid players around the world.”

Lenovo joins several other partners on Team SoloMid’s roster, including Logitech

, Twitch

, HTC’s

VIVE virtual reality headset, insurance company GEICO, soda brand Dr Pepper, and food delivery platform Grubhub. TSM currently competes in the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) and also fields teams in games such as Fortnite , PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS , Rocket League , and Super Smash Bros.
