League/Tournament Brands:
Gaming peripheral brand HyperX has signed a deal with NBA 2K League player Artreyo “Dimez” Boyd, making him the first NBA 2K League pro to sign an individual partnership with the brand. Boyd was the first pick in the inaugural 2K League draft, selected by Mavs Gaming, the esports division of NBA franchise Dallas Mavericks. He has remained with the team since that initial season in 2018.
HyperX’s brand ambassador program includes a wide array of influencers across esports and traditional sports.
In an interview with The Esports Observer earlier this year, Boyd expressed his desire to grow his personal brand and become more than a competitor.
“I have my own personal branding logo and I have merch[andise] ideas, and things that I want to do. I want to have my own clothing line; a women’s clothing line and a men’s clothing line.”
