Founded in 1905, H-E-B is a privately-owned company that operates 400 stores in Texas and Mexico. This is H-E-B’s first esports sponsorship deal. The announcement gives the Outlaws a key local sponsor ahead of the 2020 OWL season, which will see all 20 teams play out of their respective home markets.
The H-E-B logo will appear on the sleeves of Outlaws’ home and away jerseys, which will debut during the team’s opening Stage Two OWL match on April 13. Additionally, the companies will create branded reusable grocery bags available at H-E-B stores in Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.
