ESL’s national competition for Germany has named Bitburger 0,0% as premium partner for 2020. For two seasons, the non-alcoholic beer brand will support ESL Meisterschaft competitions for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, as well as Dota 2 and Warcraft III: Reforged—following an initial campaign in a May 19 live stream integration.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Bitburger has cooperated for the ESL One Hamburg Dota 2 competition over the past two years, with today’s announcement taking the deal to a national level. ESL’s National Championships also qualify teams to DreamHack Open tournaments, which in turn qualify to the Masters level of the ESL CS:GO Pro Tour.
Bitburger 0,0% itself will be present as the “official refreshment partner” for various upcoming competitions. Integrations include presenting rights to the prematch segment in the online Grand Finals, and non-alcoholic drinks provided to players, crew, casters, and players on-site.
In previous years, Warsteiner was a partner of ESL’s German competitions, with the beer brand now having signed with Freaks 4U Gaming’s 99Liga competition.
