Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1’s initial launch brought loads of cool skins like Doom Slayer, but the bonus skin for this season is special to a lot of players.
A Fortnite Geralt skin has been added this season! This latest crossover isn’t a pricey store skin like the new Dragon ball ones, though. This is an excellent crossover that is actually included as part of the Battle Pass! This season’s bonus skin is one of our best yet and players can jump in now and unlock Geralt in Fortnite right now!
This skin is based on the character from the Witcher, the fantasy novel series that spawned games that eventually led to the groundbreaking Wild Hunt. Since then, the Witcher has become a multimedia franchise with a TV adaptation with plenty of fans. This inclusion in Fortnite isn’t just any version of the character with a generic face like some Marvel skins though. Epic has gone the whole hog and lessened the iconic CD Projekt Red version of the character!
If you want to get your hands on one of the most iconic faces in recent years of gaming, there are some special challenges that you can work through. This is how to unlock Geralt in Fortnite.
How to the Unlock the Fortnite Geralt Skin
The Fortnite Geralt skin is part of this season’s Battle Pass. That means you’ll be able to unlock him as long as you have access to the premium side of the season’s progression. He’s the bonus skin though, so he’s not part of the main pass proper. Instead, he has his own page on the Battle Pass tab. He’s not locked behind Battle Stars and account levels. Instead, you complete specific quests to get access to the skin.
The Geralt Fortnite skin page lists all of the challenges you’ll need to unlock. Each of them yields a different cosmetic in his set. Once you’ve completed the full page, you’ll get the skin itself to go along with the other cosmetics! The second page has even more quests for more cosmetics and a second style for the skin. Once it’s all done, you’ll have plenty of fitting accessories to math Geralt in-game.
These are all of the cosmetics you can unlock in the Fortnite Geralt Bonus Page.
- Geralt of Rivia Loading Screen
- Weapons of the Witcher Back Bling
- Muscle Memory Spray
- Igni Sign Emote
- Witcher’s Steel Sword Pickaxe
- Geralt of Rivia Skin
The second page of Fortnite Geralt challenges will also give a few cosmetics, but we’ve got a bit longer to wait until this one pops up.
Fortnite Geralt Challenges
To unlock all of the different cosmetics, you’ll need to run through six challenges on the first page. These are pretty basic, so most players can get through them fairly easily. These are all of the quests and the easiest ways to get them done.
Activate Augments in Different Matches
- 5 Augments Needed
- Unlocks Loading Screen
This is just for activating Augments in different matches. Basically, just play five matches till the point you get on the first Augment.
Complete Bounties
- 3 Bounties
- Unlocks Back Bling
This one is to complete three separate bounties. This might be trickier for some players since you’ll need specific eliminations. Although, it’s quite in keeping with Geralt! There isn’t anything that’ll make this crazy easy, but there are some things to keep in mind.
Epic has added loads of recon tools in Chapter 4. Once your bounty area narrows down a bit, you should be able to track them down if you’re focusing on it. Use a Falcon Scout or the storm mark Fortnite Augment in the area. If your target area is small enough, this should reveal the enemy’s position to you. Then it’s just a matter of taking the fight and getting the kill.
Defeat a Boss
For this one of the Fortnite Geralt skin challenges, you need to take down a boss character. The Ageless is Chapter 4’s main boss. His Fortnite NPC location is at the Citadel. He also drops a mythic Hammer though so he’s a fairly popular boss.
If you’re looking to take him down, you can land near or at the Citadel, loot up, and then take the fight. He isn’t the hardest to kill but can become a problem if he’s using his hammer. Keeping him engaging with the Ex-Caliber is much easier since he has that Fortnite NPC aim.
To do this, keep your distance or keep gaps between the two of you. The Ageless will run towards you if there’s nothing blocking him. if he doesn’t have a direct route to you, though, then he can’t get close enough to hammer. If he’s using the Ex-Caliber, it’s just a matter of spraying him with an AR or other weapon to knock the health down. If you’re hitting headshots he’ll go down pretty quickly.
Emote in the Citadel Throne Room
This is another easy one, just do an emote in the throne room. If you’ve taken down the Ageless, then you may as well do this at the same time while you’re in the area.
Deal Melee Weapons Damage to Opponents
- 500 Damage Needed
- Unlocks Harvesting Tool
This one of the Fortnite Geralt skin quests is much easier than it would have been in past Seasons. You don’t need to try and pickaxe enemies for 500 damage, that would be a bit too much. This one is basically a call out to the Shockwave Hammer.
Hammer enemy players to deal Melee damage. Use this item to get the quest done.
Complete All Five Page 1 Quests
Once you’ve completed all of the quests, you get the Fortnite Geralt skin itself!
When is Page 2 Unlocking?
We’ll keep this Fortnite Geralt guide updated once we get the second round of the Fortnite Geralt quests! When exactly can you start earning the alternative look for the White Wolf though? These are due to get added to the game on Tuesday 28 February!
This means you’ve got quite a few weeks between the two pages getting updated. They’ll be dropping around the same time as the Fortnite weekly quests normally update. If you don’t refresh your quest page 24/7, then this is when that is in various time zones.
- 2 PM GMT
- 3 PM CET
- 9 AM EST
- 6 AM PST
This second batch is going to be a second outfit for Geralt, along with another set of cosmetics like emotes, a glider, and more! Keep an eye out for the second round dropping to unlock Geralt in Fortnite along with every other style.
