We’re nearly at the release date for the new Fortnite season, there are already tons of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 leaks showing what’s next.
As we wind towards our conclusion for the opening of Chapter 5, there’s still plenty to get done in-game. We’ve got Fortnite weekly quests, Peely to rescue, and more. However, we’re also getting Fortnite new season leaks pretty fast now.
We’ve gotten leaks for the general new season, and even a big Fortnite Battle Pass leak. As is normal for this game, we’ve had tons of Fortnite C5 S2 leaks over the last few weeks.
We still have the TMNT event to wrap up, and just saw the FNCS Finals. But if you’re looking ahead, this is what’s coming next.

Fortnite New Season Leaked Theme – Gods
The seasonal theme for Fortnite Ch5 S2 has been one of the worst-kept recent secrets. We don’t have an exact subtitle, but we’ve known for quite a while it’s some variation on Greek Mythology!
It’s a well-trod area for popular culture, even having a few games entirely dedicated recently. It does make for an interesting pick for a Fortnite season though. It looks like we’ll be getting skins themed around this, and even some Mythics.
The seasonal theme will tie into a new change to the map too. Other leaks point towards it affecting gameplay with new items.
This theme could even open potential new ground for collabs, like Hercules given the recent Fortnite Disney deal. Most of our other Fortnite C5 S2 leaks line up with this seasonal theme too.
Map Changes – Mount Olympus Coming as a POI?
One Fortnite leak that’s been horribly covered up this season is a new POI. Since the snow melted and the map was revealed, one mountaintop has been acting weird. The game seems to think the ground level is substantially lower than the mountaintop. What gives?
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Leaks would point towards this being a map change. If it’s not, this is a bit of a weird oversight by Epic. It seems it’ll be Mount Olympus or a similar mythological POI.
It’s definitely an interesting place to take it. It would fill up some of the dead space around the best C5 landing spots.
Other POIs around the Chapter 5 island are already semi in-keeping with the theme. Places like Ruined Reels might see their more modern features removed soon.
Elsewhere there are fewer leaks about map changes. We can probably expect Jonesy and the Boss’ bases to disappear.
Medallions Become Sources of Godly power in Fortnite New Season leak
In the Closing days of Chapter 5 Season 1, some of the Fortnite character dialogue has gotten weird. One character in particular has been talking about the Medallions.
These clues seem to say that the medallions were made out of next season’s Mythics and could be restored back to that form. According to Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 leaks, we’re likely going to get God like powers in these items.
Lightning attacks seem like a Mythic that’s been tested in-game already. We could get a Hermes dash too. There are loads of ways this could go but another set of five Mythics with unique powers seems pretty certain at the moment.
Fortnite Battle Pass Leaks – New Skins
Always a popular topic of speculation, Fortnite skins have been leaked a lot over the last week. We’ve even gotten a full look at one of the new Battle Pass skins! Looking at the leaks so far, it seems the Battle Pass is definitely drawing inspiration from mythology.
We’ve already had some complete leaks for the new Battle Pass. These are some of the skins we think are coming.
Cerebus
One of the skins Fortnite has been teasing ahead of the season is Cerebus. This could be a transformed version of the skin. It’s notably a version of the three-headed dog that guards the underworld in the Fortnite new season leaks. This one is from the surveys, found by the leaker ShiinaBR on Twitter.
Zeus
A Fortnite Battle Pass leak that has shown up with in-game code is Zeus. Unlike the others leaked, we don’t have an early design for them. However, they’ve been nearly confirmed as a character coming as an in-game boss.
This skin will be a Fortnite take on the Mythological figure. It’s a character with a pretty recognizable look. Even without a visual Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 leak we can probably get a picture of how this will look.
Zeus will have lightning powers in the game and will probably show up in the Battle Pass too. Just like the bosses in the C5 S1 Battle Pass.
Other Survey Skins in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Leaks
With such a clear focus on a theme here, we have a good idea of quite a few skins from recent surveys. These are the mythological themes that leakers believes might be in store for the next season. Either through a Battle Pass, or the store.
Gameplay, Crossovers, and Lego
Weather Returning
One of the biggest gameplay changes we’ve seen in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 leaks is weather or storms. In Chapter 3, we briefly had weather as an active mechanic in-game! These look set to be returning next season.
With new similar features like tempests, vortexes, and even lava. These might be random features in games or related to the mythological powers we’ve seen.
Avatar the Last Airbender Crossover
Another major Fortnite new season leak is the mid-season event. It’s a crossover with Avatar the Last Airbender. This will get an event pass in-game, along with items and skins in the Item shop.
This one is basically confirmed. It’s appearing in Fortnite’s API already.
Huge Lego Fortnite Update
A big update is in the works for Lego Fortnite! This might be part of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 leaks, or it could be coming later down the line. Quite a bit has been planned so far.
A big one is that you’ll be able to build your own world of Lego. This might be part of the upcoming Fortnite creative change. Then there are collabs coming like Duplo and Technic. More of Lego is coming according to the Fortnite new season leaks.
The created Lego Fortnite maps will be monetizable. Like those who make the most popular Fortnite Creative maps, Lego creators will get paid too.
Season 2 Intro Mini-Event
An event is apparently planned to take us into Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. The Prelude will involve a giant Titan hand popping up from the cracks in the map. This brings about storms, with Thunder, earthquakes, and more. The hand is animated and will interact with the map.
This isn’t an event like the Big Bang. It’s just something that’ll change over the coming days in-game. It’s a fun bit of build-up though.
