The $1M USD Fortnite Celebration Cup taking place Feb. 15-16 will be played exclusively on Sony PlayStation 4 systems. All eligible Fortnite players will have an opportunity to earn in-games items and cash prizes.
The Celebration will last approximately three hours on both days, with players competing for in-game items on Feb. 15 and cash prizes on Feb. 16. The competition is open to PS4 players in Europe and North America.
While the competition is exclusive to Sony’s console platform, it is being operated by Epic Games.
The Fortnite Celebration Cup is the third console-exclusive tournament for Epic Games’ Fortnite title. In 2019, the Cary, North Carolina, company, promoted and ran the Switch Japan Cup and Xbox Cup events.
