Vitality lived to fight another day at the IEM Rio 2023 as they secured a much needed 2-0 win over MIBR. FaZe had started the tournament with a resounding win over 9z, but now their survival hopes are hanging by a thread as they lost to FURIA in the Upper Bracket Semi Finals. Vitality have won each of their last three meetings with FaZe, which leads us to believe they are the CSGO betting favorites for this tie.

FURIA, however, turned out to be a different beast in front of the home crowd as they raced to a rather effortless 2-0 victory against FaZe in the Upper Bracket Semi Finals. FaZe lost the first map by 16-8 on Mirage, before putting up a better fight on Nuke. The home side closed out the game by 16-13 nonetheless.
