Corteva Agriscience, a private company that previously was the agriculture division of DowDuPont, has been announced as the lead sponsor for the 2019-20 season of Giants Software’s Farming Simulator League .
The company will support all 14 competitions during the season, which includes 10 European live events at conventions such as gamescom and Paris Games Week. The season features a €250K ($280K USD) prize pool, and is also supported by sponsors such as Logitech G , Intel , Noblechairs , Nitrado , and agriculture company DLG.

In conjunction with sponsoring the Farming Simulator League, Corteva’s Pioneer brand seeds and branded crop protection products have been added as in-game items to Farming Simulator 19 .
Giants Software recently announced several farm-tech industry team sponsors for the Farming Simulator League, including John Deere, AMAZONE, Grimme, Lindner, Horsch, Bednar, and Krone. Esports organization mYinsanity and game publisher Astragon Entertainment will also sponsor teams for the league, which begins play at FarmCon 19 later this month in Germany and runs until FarmCon 20 next summer.
