Falcons continue to assemble their CS2 superteam as they have reportedly landed their new In-Game Leader from a prominent European team

Team Falcons have captured the attention of the CS2 community worldwide as they embark on an ambitious journey to create a formidable CS2 superteam in the year 2024. This dynamic Saudi organization has already made waves in the esports world by orchestrating the surprising acquisition of head coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen from French powerhouse Team Vitality.

Continuing their impressive progress, a recent report has surfaced, intensifying the intrigue surrounding Team Falcons. According to this report, the organization has successfully recruited the In-Game Leader (IGL) for their team, and notably, this player hails from a prominent European squad.

Whom Did Team Falcons Sign As Their New IGL?

ENCE’s In-Game Leader, Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer, has apparently verbally committed to joining the Falcons, as revealed by Sheep Esports. It’s worth noting, however, that there is currently no formal transfer agreement in place between the Falcons and ENCE.

The situation is intriguing, nevertheless, and the timing seems to favor the Saudi-based club. This is because the contract of the Danish IGL is set to expire at the end of 2023, presenting an opportune moment for the Saudi organization to make its move.

The report further claims that ENCE are actively exploring potential replacements for Snappi in their lineup. One standout candidate being considered for this pivotal role is Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander. A 28-year-old Danish player, gla1ve has been patiently waiting on Astralis’ bench and has recently made it known that he’s eager to return to competitive Counter-Strike.

Snappi’s contributions have played a pivotal role in ENCE’s recent successes. As the most senior player in a team characterized by its youthful core, the 33-year-old veteran has showcased his exceptional leadership. He led his team to victory at the IEM Dallas 2023 tournament in June, and he also steered them to the Grand Finals of prestigious events such as Gamers8 2023, IEM Cologne 2023, IEM Dallas 2022, and the ESL Pro League Season 15.

ENCE also reached the semifinals in several high-profile tournaments, including ESL Pro League Season 18, ESL Pro League Season 17, and the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, underscoring Snappi’s enduring impact on the team’s competitive journey.

Who Else Did Falcons Sign?

Even though the official announcement has not been made yet, reliable sources report that Falcons have secured the signature of Danish rifler Emil “Magisk” Reif. The Paris Major winner will reunite with zonic at Falcons. Reports also suggest that the team is pursuing the signings of G2 stars Nikola “NiKo” Kovač and Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov.
